About Villahermosa
Villahermosa is the entrance door to Southeast Mexico and is graced by three great rivers: Grijalva, Usumacinta and Carrizal. Like all the cities in the region, it has an ancient touch by its pre-Hispanic legacy.
Villahermosa is a progressive, provincial, tropical, and full of life city, that’s how it’s considered. It is the capital of one of the greenest states in Mexico and has many great places to visit. This is a unique destination that wakes up with the smell of chocolate and the breeze of the Grijalva River welcomes the night.
With all the resources and services of a modern city, Villahermosa mixes with the flavor of a small city of dappled alleys and pedestrian zones with fountains and green areas, which are not the “lungs” of the city, the whole city is a lung located in the Mexican tropic.

In the city you’ll find La Venta Park and “Zona Luz” in the historical center. The Grijalva River, in its whole splendor, flows through the heart of Villahermosa.
